Heilongjiang Province continues to promote the coordinated development of agricultural mechanization and intelligence, efficiently helping to save costs and increase efficiency in agriculture, and increasing farmers' production and income. By the end of 2023, the comprehensive mechanization rate of crop cultivation and harvesting in the province has reached 99.07%, ranking first in the country. In 2024, the total number of crop protection drones in the province will be 33000, and the unmanned aerial vehicle operation area will exceed 510 million acres, ranking first in the country.

On May 31, 2023, the four ministries and commissions of the country issued a notice officially selecting Heilongjiang Province to undertake the task of building a large-scale high-power high-end intelligent agricultural machinery equipment research and development, manufacturing, promotion and application pilot zone for a period of five years, focusing on exploring a new mechanism and model of the integration of large-scale high-power high-end intelligent agricultural machinery equipment research and development, manufacturing, maturation and shaping, and promotion and application.
Driven by the construction of a pilot zone, Heilongjiang Province actively leverages the advantages of the agricultural machinery and equipment industry special team mechanism, integrates core technology research and development, agricultural machinery enterprise cultivation, and application scenario creation, accelerates the high-quality development of the agricultural machinery and equipment industry, and makes significant progress in the research and application of a number of key machinery in related fields. Some local agricultural machinery and equipment industry clusters are forming, and the resilience of the industrial chain is further enhanced.
As of now, there are 27 agricultural machinery and equipment projects invested in research in the province. The electrically controlled pneumatic seeder, fresh corn harvester, intelligent weed control robot, corn kernel harvester, potato harvester, and other similar equipment developed in Heilongjiang Province have reached the advanced level of similar national machinery; Six agricultural machinery products, including 8-row electric drive high-speed no till seeder, 18 row foldable electric drive high-speed precision seeder, electric drive corn community seeder, 50kg heavy-duty drone, 6-row fresh corn harvester, carrot combine harvester, etc., have been listed as key breakthroughs in agricultural machinery equipment by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Focus on key areas and spare no effort to protect the 'granary'
At the Heshan Farm High Quality Sorghum Production Base of Beidahuang Group's 93 Branch, 31 agricultural machinery units jointly carry out compound operations. Nine large combine harvesters harvest rows of fiery red sorghum into their bags; The stubble remover follows up in an orderly manner, crushing sorghum straw and returning it to the field; Combine the loosening and raking of the joint soil preparation machine to make sufficient preparations for sowing next year; On the ground, plump sorghum grains poured out, filling the grain trucks. Stable agriculture ensures the stability of the country and benefits the agriculture and mulberry industry. Agricultural machinery and equipment are powerful helpers in agricultural production. At present, high-end intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment have covered all aspects of agricultural production, cultivation, planting, management, and harvesting in Heilongjiang Province. There are 41600 tractors with 200 horsepower and above, 49800 no till seeders, 86000 high-speed passenger rice transplanters, and 8300 corn kernel combine harvesters in the province. We are the first in the country to adopt the "platform+terminal" model for scientific scheduling of agricultural machinery operations. Currently, there are 108300 operation monitoring terminals on the platform, which have achieved monitoring of 8 types of operations such as deep loosening and land preparation. To create a demonstration scene for smart agriculture, Beidahuang Group has launched the construction of 16 smart farms, with an annual comprehensive operation area of over 300000 acres for cultivation, management, and harvesting.
Expanding new paths for hosting services
The Heilongjiang Huayi Agricultural Machinery Professional Cooperative Union was jointly established by six agricultural machinery cooperatives and two planting cooperatives. This year, they planted 156000 acres of corn and over 5000 acres of soybeans. They can plant everything in about a week in spring and harvest everything in about two weeks in autumn. What gives them such confidence is the more than 500 large and medium-sized agricultural machinery in the cooperative.

In recent years, Heilongjiang Province has taken the promotion of socialized agricultural machinery services as the main line, realizing the "hand in hand" of small farmers in large-scale agriculture, effectively promoting the development of agricultural production towards scale, specialization, and refinement, and forging a new path for modern agriculture.
By the end of 2023, there were 23000 agricultural machinery service organizations in the province, such as the Heilongjiang Huayi Agricultural Machinery Professional Cooperative Union. Heilongjiang Province encourages the development of cross regional operation services, and since 2021, a total of 18070 cross regional operation certificates have been issued.
Relying on agricultural machinery cooperatives and agricultural machinery operation service companies and other socialized service organizations, Heilongjiang Province has established 102 regional agricultural machinery service centers and 1282 agricultural machinery emergency operation service teams, achieving full coverage of all towns and villages by the agricultural machinery emergency operation service teams, providing strong support for agricultural flood prevention, disaster relief, and emergency harvesting and drying.
